Awesome company. How’s that Quartzo quality-wise?

It’s pretty nice. I picked up both models off eBay, talking the sellers down a decent amount. ~$60 total (w/ shipping) for both

Is that the Porsche with 2 rear windows because of race regulations? I cannot find a photo :(

Thanks. The old packaging MC should set you back about 40 euros easily so great deal. Do you work at ZF?

Honestly, not sure. haha Tried doing some Google-fu just now, but couldn’t find anything on it.

That one was the more expensive of the two, at $41.35 (36.56EUR) shipped.
Indeed I do! Figured I’d go for a couple models that demonstrate all my company pride. ;)
There are quite a few SACHS/BOGE sponsored rally and touring cars out there too, wouldn’t mind adding a couple to my collection.

All I can find is quotes like:
For the 1977 World Championship season, Porsche raised the bar considerably when they produced the 935/77. The car featured new high downforce bodywork, which added a second plexiglass rear window above the original item, thus allowing the air to sweep along the raised roofline more efficiently to the rear wing.
But you know, SR20 and all ...

There you go ;-) Want me to share your post on the most appropriate blog for these kind of posts (LaLD)?
Ain’t ZF have something to do with FAG? Need a FAG bearing that BMW refuses to come up with ;-)

Ah gotchya. Searching with that info, it sounds like that was the 935/77, which came just before the infamous Moby Dick 935/78. The model I got is the 935 K3/80.

Sure! I was gonna post it there, but don’t have publishing abilities on LALD.
They are a competitor of ours... haha We don’t do bearings though, otherwise I’d get you a PN! I actually work in our aftermarket division for North America, so my entire job is focused on making parts available for shops/retailers/DIYers.

Done. Alright, thanks for the update, damn you FAG! And if you want LaLD authorship just ask, I’ll inform the proper channels.

I do plan to probably keep buying some of these things from time to time, so sure authorship would be appreciated. :)

Quartzo is not bad, quality-wise. They are older models. I have a K3/80 as well, and one of the fog light covers is missing, but I got it for cheap and I already knew it was used...
